THE PROBLEM
How do I convert Excel to CSV?
CSV can store only one plain table, while an Excel workbook may contain multiple worksheets, formulas, styles, charts, and typed values. You need to choose which worksheet becomes the CSV.
- The Excel workbook is never overwritten.
- Other worksheets remain in the source workbook but are not included in the CSV.
- Formulas, colors, charts, merged cells, and number formats cannot be preserved by CSV.
